OUR LOCATION

Tryon Equestrian Farms is located near Tryon, North Carolina, an internationally renowned epicenter for equestrian life. It’s not situated within a big city by design, but Tryon isn’t exactly a remote outpost that requires three flights and a long-haul drive to find. In fact, it’s near several airports and merely:

  • A pleasant three-hour drive from Atlanta, GA (ATL)

  • About an hour-and-a-half from the Charlotte, NC metropolis (CLT)

  • Fifty minutes up into the mountains from Greenville, SC (GVL)

  • About a half hour by car from Western North Carolina’s hub, Asheville (AVL)

The location is by design. Once you arrive, you’re greeted by the serenity of a rural community with open countryside that’s at once secluded and easily accessible by car and airplane, thanks to the nearby airports. And if you find yourself in a new luxury home in Mill Spring at Tryon Equestrian Farms, you’re close to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) to take advantage of its year-round activities.

  • Asheville, a bustling mountain city with a plethora of breweries, music venues, fine restaurants, theaters, rooftop views and unusual entertainment, such as comedy bus tours, ziplining and all kinds of festivals.

  • Hendersonville, a mountain town with the Number One Main Street in the state. Its Historic Downtown hosts the NC Apple Festival. And you’ll find numerous boutiques and alternative dining options on and off its main thoroughfare.

  • Saluda, a small town on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, boasts water adventures like white-water rafting, tubing and waterfalls, while the quaint downtown will charm its way into your heart.
